The Trump administration is planning to extend its sweeping restrictions on travelers from Europe to the U.S. and the U.K. as the coronavirus spreads, according to a person familiar with the matter.
President Donald Trump earlier this week announced that foreigners who have been in 26 European countries over the last two weeks won’t be allowed in to the U.S. for 30 days.
Airlines have scrambled to slash flights as the drastic measures amid the pandemic roils the travel industry.
